Stuffies With Missing Parts

Are your stuffiness missing parts?

Here is a picture mine.

Fox has no tail; Bunny has no ears, Goose lost his wing; Snake lost his tongue and the rattle got removed from his tail; and Squirrel on a rope lost a few legs and ears; and they no longer squeak. Either I broke the squeaky or I made a hole trying to get it and my Mom, got the squeaky out and then she sewed it up so I would not eat the stuffing or the squeaky.

I sit there patiently while she does this.
This is my "what'sit". It had lots of squeakies in it and they keep getting removed.

If I make a hole in it and start to pull the stuffing out, it gets taken away immediately (something about me eating it and it getting stuck in my tummy). I have been know to eat the stuffing and then have to go to the vet to get that awful medicine put in my eye to make me throw up. My Mom can now get to the vet in 20 min for these incidents. She never used to speed before, but for some reason, I have changed her way of driving. I can’t explain why I eat the stuffing. Maybe the people that make the stuffies put stuff in them that effects my doggie senses?

So, please help me out here. I can’t be the only dog (and maybe Tia, Wilbur and Girl Girl have this problem too !) that does this to stuffies. Do you have pictures of stuffies with missing parts that your parents can post? You have too! I am sure there are some of you that have done worse to stuffies than me. I can’t be the only one. I know you’re out there!

Waiting to see what you’all have to share.

Oh MayaMarie.... Oh yes, stuffies tend to "die" in my house too. First: kill the squeaker. Second: chew a hole in it. Third: Remove stuffing. Fourth: carry around carcauss.

Mom has tried stitching up the holes, but then there is a seam and I have to open it back up. So, I am a destuffer rather than a decapitator.

I love all of your stuffies. They look fun!!!

Hugs,
Sitka

Hi MayaMarie, Tasha here. You are just doing normal huskie stuff! Its a good thing your mom keeps an eye on you! We only have a few toys that are missing parts. We have tagged you to tell 7 random things about yourself. We are tagging pups that are new to the DWB world. If you can, tag seven others. Have fun! Belly Rubs, Tasha

Hi, MayaMarie.
Don't worry. We all do that to our toys. I don't do that to all my toys because I have some favourites and my mom sew them and sew them and sew them again until there is no way they can be fixed again and they do to the can trash!
Like you, I think the makers put something inside them that makes us want to kill them!
Have a good night

I think humans take the squeakers because they want them for themselves!!!

Hee hee. MayaMarie, you are right on target. Amici kills stuffies in our house too. He loves to rip a hole in the stuffie, tear the stuffing out, and then take the squeaker out. His humans have been extra cautious about the squeakers and take it away once he has it out though. Kana, brother in law's husky, ate a squeaker and had to have surgery. He recovered fine but for a while we weren't sure he was going to make it. You are wise to be weary of the squeaker, although they are so much fun for our dogs. :)

I sew up the toys too and Amici can't wait to tear open a new hole or the same one I just sewed within minutes. We have to ration how many new stuffies he gets now because he goes through them so FAST.

And, like Sitka, I carry around the remaining stuffie too like it is a prize.
