Our Kitchen is Changing

Hello My Furry Friends! Hope all of you are keeping cool. We have been very busy. Our kitchen is changing. Even though their anniversary is not until August, Dad wanted to start this project now. It is his present to mom. A new kitchen. She gets new cabinets, appliances and countertop. This is how our kitchen looked this morning.
Then, we were told we had to stay in our room so we would be safe and not get into any trouble. Me and Bella were discussing all the noise, and she was very concerned because the husky air was off.
Missy did not like the noise either. The kitchen table ended up in the sun room and Missy hid under it all day.
It's hard to see, but the wall is gone and there's stuff everywhere.
After they cleaned up the mess, lots of wood, nails, dirt, and lots of electric wires, we were allowed back in there. I inspected the place where the wall came out. Lots of patching and painting to be done here and I do hope someone turns the husky air back on.
Here's a better picture. The rug was covered with plastic and I had to check it after the plastic came off. Now it's wide open. See, there's wires hanging from the ceiling. Dad has to work on that tomrrow and there's paper covering the floor. Of course, Bella had to pee on it. I just can't believe she did that. I do hope mom does something about the paint colors.

Well, that's all for tonight. I have to help mom empty the cabinets and Missy has to help keep an eye on Bella.

Woooos!!! How exciting! Your mom must be delighted!
There's no husky khold air in our house, we can give you some tips on staying cool:
1. don't move around a lot, take naps & dream of snow.
2. ask for ice cubes.
3. dig several nice cool holes to lie down in out in the yard.

Hope this helps!

That is SO exciting! I hope your husky air is back on and cranking out cold now.
I would be under the table like Missy, I think.
I'm so excited to follow your kitchen renovation! Do any of you girls get to choose things? Do you need help from Dave, Guide Dog for the Color Blind? If so, just holler!
Love,
Ammy

Wow, that must be really exciting. We had paper on the floor of our Texas house right before we moved. I didn't try to pee on it, but maybe I should have. I can't wait to see how the kitchen turns out!

Kat

PS. Steve is very worried that you are not getting any fresh treats during this time.

Wow, it looks like you are going to have lots more space to chase each other without the wall in the way. We bet your mom is excited to get a new kitchen. Hopefully there will be lots of new space to make lots and lots of cookies!
