What Has Bella Been Up To? And No Hot Water

Hello My Furry Friends! The answer to the Bella question is quite amazing, to me anyway. You see, I was helping mom in the laundry room, like I always do. It’s next to the kitchen. We were putting the wet clothes in the dryer. I love to help with the wet clothes, when we heard this odd noise. You see, Bella was not interested in the laundry and was in the kitchen. I went to see, and of course, I got on my purple bench and had to ra rooo roo for mom to come see. I had to tell, for a change I was innocent. And Bella the Bad was guilty! This is what she saw. Do you know what this is? It’s ice. How did it get all over the floor. Bella is running around the kitchen with ice cubes having the time of her life. Just look at her. Munching out.
Now this is the ice cube button area. How did she manage this? Now the button is on lock, and only mom can get the ice out.

She's still trying to figure out why she can't get ice any more. And mom is still amazed that she reached up and pressed that pad with her paw and got ice out. Bella has a very deep voice and now she fusses at mom for ice cubes. She may act all sweet and innocent, but she can cause trouble too!
This is where we ended up yesterday and today. In half of our room, with my crate and a gate as a barricade. Seems the big thing that makes hot water will not work and the plumber could not fix it, and there was no hot water last night. Mom told dad he had to heat the pool last night because she was not taking another cold shower.
Today, dad said he was not waiting for parts to come in some time next week, and the plumber guy was not in any hurry, so dad went and got a new one. Missy got to inspect it.

We were not allowed to help and they put the dryer in the way so we could not get back there. It took them a few hours, but we now have hot water. Dad is our hero, mom was his helper, so we better appreciate her too, and now mom can go wash her hair.
We just could not fit thru there. We tried. Bella even tried to get on the dryer.

Husky Hugs to all. MayaMarie

PeeSssss: Mom is still sending out the resume’ thingies. Either she’s too old (and she still says 49 is not old) or she’s is over qualified. Have you ever eard of being over qualified? She told one interviewer she didn’t want her job, she just wants to make enough money to help with the groceries, us pups and stuff like that. So now she’s putting together her paperwork and is gonna see about selling dog biscuits and her special felt Christmas stockings. We have to get her to post our stockings, she made them to look just like us.

Thanks for all the encourangement for our mom. You'all made her smile and fell good. She's not gonna give up looking. She found a few more jobs in today's paper she'll apply for. But we do like the dog biscuit idea the best!

Wow, Bella is very clever. I'm not sure why she can't have the ice. Water isn't messy, right?

I hope your mom finds a job or starts her treat business and makes a bazillion dollars so you pups can have anything you want.

Our cold box's ice maker is broken!

I'm happy for you having hot water. It would be awful to have unclean humans running around.

The humans lock our ice dispenser as well. They complain about needed to fill our water bowl up all the time, then lock out the ice... go figure.

Good luck to your mom. My human woman is sick of the grind as well and wants to downsize, so they have a two year plan to escape silly Merryland and move someplace more creative (aka: not so expensive to live)

Oh dog biscuits and christmas stockings. Sounds like a plan to me. We need christmas stockings and dog biscuits. Oh and my mom says to tell your mom she's never had an allergy problem until now. :(

Bella, doesn't Mom now ice is self serve? It's good you're teaching her!

Mom says job market is really good in Dallas. She's always talking to folks about jobs--full and part time. We like when Mom works from the house. Too bad it's not every day. We'll cross paws for the right opportunity for your Mom.

Hot water again! Yippee for the Mom and Dad team. Now y'all can have free reign of the house again.

Hope you have a pawsome week.

Bella is very smart to get the ice. We love chewing ice too!
I saw a white husky at Petsmart wen I was trying to pass my obedience test. I couldn't concentrate until I got to meet it, because I thought it was Bella and I was so excited. It wasn't (it was a boy!) but he was very handsome.

Good luck to your mom and finding a job. Our girl has been told that she was overqualified for jobs (they worry that you will just stay long enough to get a better job). She learned a trick on her resume - she put the correct job title for her old jobs but listed only the skills that were needed for each job she was applying for - even if it meant leaving off the most difficult or important experience. Good luck!

ps. Thanks for sending positive thoughts to our girl.

Bella is so SMART! I wish she could teach ME how to do that. I have to stand in front of the magic cold box and stare at it; I wait for Mom to come give me one. I think Bella's approach is much better!
Good luck to your mom! And we'll be HAPPY to be taste=testers!

Hiya My MayaMarie,

How ya doin? Yur lil sis, Bella, is one smart Sibe-pup by getting her own icy cubes. I luv to munch on icy cubes but hafta wait until sumone opens the freezer fur me to give them the big eyes.

Our mommy knows just how yur mommy feels. She has gone on so many interviews. Sum she comes home frum feeling like they went well & others she knows that they won't be good. So far none has come thru wif offers. Personally, I think those humes are crazy!!! Our mommies would do a great job fur them if they gave them a chance. She's been pretty down about this, too. Her time at the University is almost over. Good luck to yur mommy. Sumthing should break, hopefully soon, for yur mommy & our mommy.

Hugs & kissies,

-Yur Juneau-

Awesome trick Bella! We need one of those ice dispensers! I would be in heaven! Mom said she's very interested to see those Christmas stockings. Right now all of ours are mismatched!

Mom says that's why she won't get a water cooler to put in the kitchen. She's afraid I'll figure out how to empty the water all over the floor. She never trusts me!

Wooo, your sissie Bella is really turning out to be one smart puppy! Now she just needs to figure out how to unlock the ice spout.
Our mama is in the same boat as your mom, best wishes with the treats & stockings. Mom can't figure out anything she could make that anyone would want to buy, but she's been applying for lots of work from home clerical jobs and no bites yet. Paws crossed & sibe vibes that all the mommies find jobs that let them be home with us all the time!
Kisses,

Wow, Bella is a smart girl! Can your mom get a video of her trying to get ice, then fussing cause it doesn't work? That would be hilarious!

Bella I am so proud of you! You are such a good Ice getter! That is so clever of you. You are looking more and more like me now!
I bet your Mom will love when all that white coat blows all over the house. It's just like being in the snow in the house, like I am doing right now.
I am so glad your mom got hot water back! Thats the pits.
Thanks Bella's Dad. Good luck to your Mom on the job hunt too! We will keep her in our thoughts and send sibe vibes.

Woos, Bella is one clever huskette! We send supportive woos about the dg biscuits, sounds like a winner to us! Our humom is overqualified & "over aged" too, and didn't get the job she interviewed for. Who would have ever thought you could be "too good"?
