Bella's Home

Hello My Furry Friends. Bella is home. Mom and dad went and picked her up yesterday. The vet said all went well and she was so quite they could not believe a husky was this quite. Well, as soon as she saw mom and dad she was so excited they could not keep her still.
Here she is showing off her tummy. I have one complaint. She does not have to wear that plastic collar thing. How fair is that? Look are her, she got her collar back on and she's smiling. I had to wear that thing for what seemed like forever. I gotta talk with the vet when I see him. This is so not fair.
Well, we have to be separated for the week. The vet actually thinks Bella is gonna lay still and be confined to her crate? Oh but no. I have the doggy room with my sofa and window and Bella is in the kitchen. And she will not stay still. So we will just have to visit at the gate until the weekend. Let's see who lasts longer with this set up, us or mom.
Husky Hugs to all. MayaMarie

I'm SO glad Bella is home! I didn't have to wear the lampshade when I was spayed, either. Maybe the vet thought Storm would look after me. Are you supposed to keep an eye on Bella?
Happy healing!

We're very happy Bella is home & all went well. But I agree - totally unfair she doesn't have to endure the lampshade torture device like the rest of us gals had to! You never know, if she starts picking at her tummy, she may have to endure it after all...

I'm glad Bella is home and doing well! Too bad for the crate confinement, but good thing she doesn't have to wear the collar thingy. Although, you are right, why did you have to but she doesn't?? NOT fair!

Hiya my MayaMarie,
I'm so glad that Bella is feeling better. But, what gives, that she gets away wif not wearing a yuckie lampshade, no fair!?!? Tell her that she is a one lucky girl. I hopes she has a fast recovery. Tell her to take it easy.

Hugs & kissies,

Sometimes MayaMarie you'll see life isn't fair - I mean some of our good doggy blog pals had/have to go away - that's not right at all -

Glad Bella's surgery went well, but I agree, it's not fair that she didn't have to wear the plastic collar!

Sweet little Bella! We are glad she is home. She must be feeling well to show her belly like that! MayaMarie, I sure hope you are keeping a good eye on Bella to make sure she doesn't lick at those stitches!

Hurray! We are really glad that cute, little Bella made it through the weekend away. Have you been terrorizing your mom? Are you still separated?

Also we liked your idea about our moms opening up a dog bakery. My mom actually really wants to open one and your mom would be the perfect partner! Too bad we live so far apart...

Staying still is overrated! I was a jumping bean after my surgery. I pulled my stitches out!!

I'm glad Bella is home safe & sound.

We are glad Bella is home and doing well. It isn't even slightly fair that she doesn't have to wear the scary collar.

Hi girls,

Me never had a sister cause me always want to be the center of attention but the Mommy said the 3 of you remind her of her two sisters--they did everything together & when one was sick they others just mopped around until the other one could play again.
