Playing Inside

Hi all my furry friends. Hope everyone is keeping cool. It is so hot here in the south. We need a cool vacation. We've been hearing about going up north in October and Missy tells me that Green Bay (where our grandparents live) is so nice and cool. I can't wait!
This is how Mom found us this morning. My bed is supposed to be under the hutch, but I wanted to be by Missy. Obviously, I moved it. She actually got the picture.
We played with a tennis ball under the table. Mom asks that you'all ignore the fluff under the chair (she neglected her vacuuming duties to make us cheesey biscuits).
I played football for a while after Missy got tired of playing with me. Of course Mom can't seem to get the action picture of me catching it, but she'll keep trying. This one is after I caught it.
Then me and Missy played with fox for a while. We still have not ripped it. It does not squeak any more, but it's still fun to play with.
After that, we were both tired and took a nap. The house smelled good. Mom was fixing us our ground turkey breast loaf. Hope all of you'all are keeping cool and being good.
Husky Hugs to all. MayaMarie

Yeah, it's hot here too. We get to play inside, but not as much since Ulee gets nervous when we get too wild. Mom says to tell your mom that she had developed a FID - Fluff Ignoring Disease. She had developed it since we came to live with her and she decided there are better things for her to do than vacuum multiple times per day.

PS, we saw your comment and we bought Mom's dog treat birthday present at Barnes and Noble. It was on the bargain book part.

Hi, MayaMarie.
Here is hot too! I have to stay inside all day long.
Lovely pictures of you and Missy!
Sure making your treats and delicious food is better than being cleaning serveral times.
Have a good night

When you head for Green Bay can you stop and pick me up? I really need some cool weather too. I sure hope it ends for all of us soon!

Don't worry about your fur all over the floor. Anyone with our breeds knows that its just part of the household, and it never goes away, no matter how much vacuuming the humans do! Our house looks way worse than yours!

Aw, you and Missy share toys so nicely!

It's HOT here too! Mom made a BUNCH of peanut butter treats for me yesterday and put some in the freezer. Yum!

I moved my bed over next to Bailey's bed so often that Mama and Papa finally decided to leave it there. Also, Mama says that our fluff balls could eat your fluff balls for breakfast.

Mom just vaccuumed last night, so we had to replace our fur buffalos. It's hard work, but we are just the huskies to do it. Guinness is helping. It seems she is blowing her 2nd coat this summer.

Missy looks like a very sweet dog. How old is she? Is she a GSD mix?

We knew Missy was a special mix! our favorite kind and kindred spirit. You are too, MayaMarie. Guinness especially sympathises with how much foolishness young huskies can create. She just keeps sighing and tolerating all of the craziness.
